"Back in the day I was doing a lot of work for Sire Records. When I was asked to work with Echo I was thrilled. I was a huge fan and would have done the mix for free. Add to this joy the bonus of working on tracks that included Ray Manzarek (keyboardist and founding member of The Doors). His keyboard work on this track is masterful. Makes sense for Echo to work with one of The Doors when you think of what a great job Ian did covering their version of "People Are Strange". "Bed Bugs" is one of my favourite records I worked on.
