It's Alright is a cover version of It's All Right, a song by Sterling Void & Paris Brightledge first released in 1987 on D.J. International Records - The song was reissued in 1989 after the release of Introspective, an album by Pet Shop Boys that contained a version of It's All Right.

"Trevor Horn was working with a new group and he told us he needed a hit song for them. We played him this song [It's Alright] by Sterling Void from a new Acid Trax compilation LP and he loved it. While working on "Left To My Own Devices", we decided that we would record "It's Alright" for our Introspective LP.
